A little more than 5 years ago, he was nothing more than a non-recurring consumer towards movies, the few he saw were the super productions that were released and he went to the cinema to see them. But all that changed when in a period of 6 months I got sick with chickenpox, influenza and mumps. Thanks to that I had to stay at home for several months and I couldn't go anywhere and I started watching movies that could be considered almost an addiction. A good example is that I saw myself on a weekend I saw the Lord of the Rings trilogy and the Oscar winners in the last 5 years.
After I was cured of the illnesses I began to go to the cinema more continuously and to see more movies in my house, thanks to recommendations from friends and from various groups I met directors like Scorsese, Kubrick. Leone and Orson Wells. And I fell in love with the films of each of those directors, specifically those of Scorsese, I could see their films as many times as they are and I would never tire of seeing them. In particular Goodfellas, it's my favorite movie and I watch it about three times a month and I never get tired of watching it.
I started watching videos of youtubers that talk about the meaning of colors in movies, falling even more in love, looking for even more movies such as "Nosferatu", "The Andalusian dog", "Journey to the moon", "Bicycle thief" among many others. My love for cinema affected me so much that I decided that I was going to study cinematography at my University here in Monterrey to illustrate my feelings in the projects that I would do in the future.
Are you also in love with the cinema?
